Melissa Triebell received her B.A. in Animal Physiology and Professional Certificates in Regulatory Affairs and Biomedical Quality Assurance/Control from the University of California, San Diego. She is US RAC certified by RAPS and a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) by ACRP. Melissa is a Clinical Operations and Regulatory Affairs Professional with 30+ years experience in providing clinical guidance and regulatory strategies, identifying anticancer, cardiovascular and antiviral drug targets, developing in vitro diagnostic assays, and conducting clinical studies and collaborations at academic institutions, start-up biotechs and medical device companies. She co-developed nucleic acid and diagnostic products from concept to commercial launch which include Quidel, Corp.’s first hCG dipstick pregnancy kit, GenVault, Inc.’s GenSolve, GenTegra™ DNA, GenTegra™ RNA, Genta/Invitrogen’s PerFect Lipid™ Transfection Kit and Iris Molecular Diagnostics’ NADiA® ProsVue™ automated assay. Melissa is a Board Director for the Laboratory Robotics Interest Group (LRIG) San Diego Chapter since 2004.
